Murder investigation launched after Grangetown stabbing
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in in Grangetown area of Cardiff.
Armed officers were called to a serious assault in the front garden of a house on Corporation Road just before 2am.
Police say the alleged victim was stabbed several times and died at the scene.
They say he is believed to be a 20-year-old man from Butetown. His family have been informed.
Parts of Corporation Road and Holmesdale Street are closed for searches and forensic examination.
Residents can expect some disruption in the area this morning.
