Walking the Wards: A day in the life of Llandough Hospital

The National Health Service is turning 70.

All this week, ITV News be taking a look at the work that goes on within our hospitals in Wales.

Our Health Reporter James Crichton-Smith has been spending time in Llandough Hospital.

James spent the day with Llandough's day hospital team. They see around 30 patients each day.

James met day patient Lucienne.

At 82 years old, Lucienne knows a time before the NHS and she says, 'she owes her life to it'.
