Homes evacuated as fire rages in Caernarfon

Residents in Carmel near Caernarfon. have been told to evacuate their homes due to a large gorse fire.

North Wales Fire and Rescue tweeted around 15 properties are being evacuated in Carmel due to the intensity of the blaze.

It is advising nearby residents to keep their windows and doors closed and to stay safe.
