Graham Potter appointed as the new manager of Swansea City
Graham Potter has been appointed as the new manager of Swansea on a three-year contract, the Sky Bet Championship club have announced.
The Swans settled on a compensation package with Ostersunds for Potter and two members of his staff, Billy Reid and Kyle Macaulay, last week.
Potter spent over seven years with Ostersund.
He guided the club to three promotions – taking them from the fourth tier to the top flight – and won the Swedish Cup in 2017.
Potter succeeds Carlos Carvalhal at the Liberty Stadium, with the Portuguese leaving the club after relegation had been confirmed on the final day of last season.
They will start work at their new club ahead of the 2018-19 Championship season, which kicks off in early August.
