Murder investigation launched after woman's death in Merthyr Tydfil

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Merthyr Tydfil.

Police visited a house in Bedlinog at 6.21am after concerns were raised for a 38 year-old woman at the Lewis Street address during an emergency call.

A 49 year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing to the public for information.They would like to hear from anybody who was in the vicinity of Lewis Street, Bedlinog, who may have noticed anything suspicious between 8pm on Friday, 25th May, and 6.45am on Tuesday, 29th May, 2018.
