South Wales mounted police set off to Windsor to take part in royal wedding
In just a few days time, thousands of people are expected to descend on Windsor to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Officers from South Wales Police mounted section will be among those lining the streets - not to join the celebrations, but to assist with crowd control.
It’s the first time the unit has helped with a Royal Wedding, though the horses have had plenty of training in crowds on rugby match days and at other big events across Wales.
Riders have been preparing the horses for the past two weeks - preparing ceremonial outfits, packing riot gear, and making them fit to meet the Queen.
