Four alerts in force as flooding closes roads

Natural Resources Wales has issued four flood alerts after heavy overnight rain:

  • River Ely

  • Rivers Loughor and Amman

  • Rivers Gwendraeths

  • Rivers Lynfi and Ogmore

Flooding means in Tonna the A4109 Main Road is closed between Fforest Hill / Dulais Drive (Tonna) and Brynawel (Crynant).

Debris and rocks washed onto the road have made the B4282 impassable between Maesteg and Bryn. Police have closed the route.

Cymmer Road in Glyncorrwg is closed because of a landslip near Dunraven Street.
