South Wales family open their own little library
A family in South Wales have opened their own tiny library at the bottom of their front garden.
Bookworms passing by Pontypridd Road in Barry can now pick up a book at the Little Free Library which opened just before Christmas.
Rachel Zeraschi says the idea for the little library came from her kids Lorenzo, Sofia and Matteo. She says they are keen readers and wanted to do something for the community.
Users are encouraged to borrow books or leave their own for others to enjoy.
Some people have started leaving more than just books.
Taking care of the library has become part of the daily routine for the family which the local community has embraced.
