Powys is top of the cold weather table
Lake Vrynwy, in Powys, was the coldest place in Wales overnight with the temperature falling to -6 9 Celcius. But, forecasters say, when you add in the wind chill it felt like -13C.
The mercury dropped to -6.8C at Bala.
Meanwhile there is an amber 'be prepared' warning of heavy snow in force for tomorrow and Friday.
