A walker has died after falling more than 800ft on Snowdon

A walker has died on Mt Snowdon after falling more than 800ft down a rocky slope.

He had been out climbing with a friend who alerted police on Saturday.

The icy area where the man fell has been described as an "accident blackspot".

A coastguard rescue helicopter flew Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team volunteers up the mountain to recover the man.
