Armed police called to ongoing incident in Barry

South Wales Police officers were called to an address at Plas Cleddau, Barry at 12:18pm this afternoon.

Armed officers have now been deployed to the scene.

A statement from the force said it was a ''precautionary measure to protect the public.''
