Woman and children rescued after car falls into river in Fishguard

A woman and two children have been rescued after their car plunged into a river in west Wales.

Three members of the public jumped into the River Gwaun and pulled the three to safety after witnessing the black Nissan fall into the river in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire on Sunday morning.

The woman and two children were taken Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen. The extent of their injuries are currently unknown.
