Wales' Mark Williams out of 2018 Masters
Two-time former champion Mark Williams has been knocked out of snooker's Dafabet Masters.
The experienced Welshman, from Cwm,Ebbw Vale, lost 6-1 to English cueman Kyren Wilson at Alexandra Palace, following Ronnie O'Sullivan out of the tournament.
Williams, who won the Masters in 1998 and 2003, dramatically beat world no.1 Mark Selby to reach the quarter-final stage with a 6-5 victory.
Wilson, playing in the Masters for just the second time, advances to the semi-finals.
Ryan Day is now Wales' sole representative in the competition.
