Talywain rugby club 'devastated' by break in

A rugby club in the Valleys has spoken of its devastation after being burgled earlier this month.

More than £2,000 was stolen from Talywain RFC during in a break in on the 5th of January.

During the raid, a charity fund for a former player and father who is currently in a coma was also taken.

Now neighbouring team, Pontypool RFC has pledged to donate all the ticket sales from their match against Bedlinog RFC today to help Talywain get back on its feet.
