More car parking in the Brecon Beacons? Bigger Pen y Fan car park gets go ahead

Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons draws in around 350,000 visitors a year.

On the busiest days like Boxing Day, roads can be clogged with ramblers' parked cars.

The National Trust has now been given the go ahead to to build hundreds more parking spaces at the Pont ar Daf access point.

The National Trust says the expanded car park will be take the environment into account

The new car park - which will include around 260 spaces - will also charge visitors for use.
