Yellow Warning of snow and ice issued for Friday

The Met Office has issued a snow and ice warning across Wales for Friday.

Frequent snow showers are expected on Friday. 2-5cm of snow is likely to fall across Wales but North Wales is likely to see greater snowfall of 10-20cm.

Icy surfaces are likely to be an additional hazard overnight which could cause possible travel delays on roads and railways.

They are also warning some rural communities could be cut off and power supplies interrupted.

  • Cardiff

  • Carmarthenshire

  • Ceredigion

  • Conwy

  • Denbighshire

  • Flintshire

  • Gwynedd,

  • Isle of Anglesey

  • Merthyr Tydfil

  • Monmouthshire

  • Neath Port Talbot

  • Newport

  • Pembrokeshire

  • Powys

  • Rhondda Cynon Taff

  • Swansea

  • Torfaen

  • Vale of Glamorgan & Wrexham
