Small businesses in Wales turnover £126 million per day

Wales' small businesses turn over £126 million per day according to new figures from the Federation of Small Businesses.

They're encouraging people to shop locally this weekend to celebrate the contribution smaller businesses make to the Welsh economy.

The figures show that Wales' 240,000 small-to-medium sized businesses turn over £46 billion a year.

According to the figures, these businesses provide 62% of private sector employment.
