Caerphilly's 'ugly' Christmas tree gets a makeover
Town councillors have defended Caerphilly's Christmas tree after it was criticised on social media.
The tree, which cost £600, was installed on Monday.
But residents had attacked it for having an odd shape and looking too bare.
But by Friday lunchtime, town councillors had begun to decorate the tree...
Caerphilly Town Council say recent bad weather meant decoration of the tree couldn't begin until now.
If you want to see the tree in its full glory, councillors say it'll be ready ahead of Christmas lights switch-on on Friday evening.
