British Legion club damaged days before Remembrance Sunday
A British Legion branch was broken into and damaged just days before Remembrance Sunday.
Intruders drilled a giant hole in the side of the New Lodge Club and smashed up the inside of the building.
The extent of damage meant the club was forced to cancel planned events and close for a day due to health and safety regulations.
Branch chairman Phillip Sillick said 'looters smashed up the club' in Gorseinon, Swansea, after they failed to find any money.
He said:
A spokesman for South Wales Police said two 26-year-old men had been arrested on suspicion of burglary and have both been released under investigation.
