RNLI release rescue operation video during storm
The RNLI has released a video of the moment they launched a lifeboat into Storm Brian after a person was reported to have been washed off the rocks in Tenby.
The all-weather lifeboat, Haydn Miller, was released at around at 9.20am on Saturday, battling huge seas with gusts of up to 65mph.
Once at the scene, the volunteer crew got the lifeboat as close as they could to the huge swell and began to search between Skrinkle and Lydstep, whilst Coastguard teams searched from the cliffs above and Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 187 search from the air.
Later, the Coastguard received a call from someone claiming to be the person that had been on the rocks. Units were stood down at around 10:50am.
