Coast and Country returns to celebrate Autumn!
We start our autumn adventure in the breath-taking setting of Snowdonia.I'm going with the flow at Swallow Falls in Betws y Coed. It's the highest continuous waterfall in Wales and the views are truly incredible. People from all over the world come to visit, and it's easy to see why!
I'm also breathing in the magic of Fairy Glen. Bursting with myth and legend, the gorge on the outskirts of Betws y Coed takes its name from the sprites that are said to live here!
Andrew is scaling new heights on his most daring adventure yet! Crib Coch is one of the most dangerous paths to the summit of Snowdon. The knife-edge ridge means only the most experienced of climbers should tackle the route.
But the views from the top are worth the climb.
Rob Shelley's Snowdonia adventure is an altogether more relaxed affair! He's letting the train take the strain! Since 1896 visitors have flocked to make the 1 hour train journey from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon...
Although as Rob soon discovers, the weather at the top doesn't always play along, and you just have to imagine the views!
But with so many of us now enjoying the great outdoors, Mountain Rescue Teams say that they are getting increasing numbers of call outs for injured dogs, as we take our four-legged friends on our adventures. But would you know what to do if your dog was hurt?
The Madog Dog Walking group have taken part in a Canine First Aid course, so that should the worst happen when they are out with their dogs they are able to help. Tonight I'm learning the basics from First Aider Catherine Wills who runs courses the courses, along with her trusty sidekick Sparky the Labradoodle!
So join us as we start our autumn adventure, tonight at 8pm on ITV Cymru Wales.
