Teenager charged with Connah's Quay murder to stand trial in November
A teenager from Liverpool charged with the murder of a 19-year-old in Connah's Quay is to stand trial in November.
Defendant David John Woods, 19, from Marsh Lane in Bootle, Liverpool, is accused of the murder of Matthew Cassidy, also of Liverpool, in May.
Woods appeared at a pretrial review at Mold Crown Court via television link and formally entered a not guilty plea.
Prosecuting barrister Elen Owen said that the trial, which was expected to last two weeks, was listed to start on 27 November.
Woods, represented by barrister Michael Bagley, said nothing other than to confirm his identity.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded in custody pending the trial.
