Shadow Chancellor says UK and Welsh Labour are on 'same page' for Brexit plans

The Shadow Chancellor, John McDonnell, has said UK and Welsh Labour are on "the same page" when it comes to Brexit.

Speaking in Pembrokeshire, the MP outlined that tariff free access to the single market is their objective. First Minister, Carwyn Jones, has previously said it's vital for Wales that the UK secures full market access post Brexit.

Mr McDonnell said: "Britain is the fifth largest economy in the world, so therefore we feel we can get a deal which achieves tariff free access."

Speaking to our Political Editor, Adrian Masters, he said he'll be setting a new tone in negotiations.
