Aled Davies throws world record to win F42 shot put gold at World Para-athletics championships
Aled Davies threw a world record in the F42 shot put to win gold at the World Para Athletics Championships.
Davies threw was a World Championships record of 16.02 metres in his first attempt and followed it up with a world record throw of 17.52m.
The 26-year-old from Bridgend already claimed gold in the F42 discus. This is the third time in a row Davies has triumphed in both events at the competition.
