Ed Sheeran hits out at ticket touts cancelling 10,000 tickets
Singer Ed Sheeran has cancelled 10,000 tickets ahead of his UK tour coming to Cardiff next June. The tickets will be returned to the official marketplace now where fans can buy them at face value.
The pop star and his team have a strict stance against anyone using secondary ticketing websites for profit.
On his website, the star discouraged fans from using unauthorised sites like viagogo.com and edsheerantickets2018.com
The announcement was made on the star's website just days after tickets for his tour went on sale.
The website advises fans that any tickets resold will not be valid unless resold through Ed's official resale partner Twickets.co.uk, which allows fan to fan sales at face value plus a booking fee.
Fans are reminded that to gain admission to the shows they must bring:
Tickets
Booking confirmation
Credit card used to purchase tickets (or a photocopy)
Valid photo ID matching customer name and booking information
