Lee Selby defends title with unanimous points win

Barry boxer Lee Selby delivered a successful third defence of his IBF world featherweight title with a unanimous points win over Argentinian Jonathan Barros.

Selby picked up a cut above his right eye early in the bout but was otherwise untroubled by the Argentine.

Selby finished off a dominant perforamance by knocking Barros to the ground in the 12th round before earning a unanimous points decision (119-108, 117-110, 117-110).

It was an emotional end to a difficult week following for Selby following the death of his mother just four days beforehand.
