Welsh businesses urged to make most of Heathrow Airport expansion
Wales is being urged to be at the “heart of the action” in the delivery of Heathrow Airport's third runway, by Welsh Secretary Alun Cairns.
A new runway at Heathrow is the government's preferred airport expansion project.
A summit held in Cardiff today will allow business owners to meet with airport representatives in an effort to help them win future contracts.
Mr Cairns will underline the UK Government's backing of this significant infrastructure project and highlight the benefits the Welsh workforce, Welsh passengers and what communities stand to gain from the planned expansion.
