Fans told to expect armed police at Olly Murs concert in Wrexham

North Wales Police have warned fans to expect to see armed police at an Olly Murs concert at the Racecourse ground in Wrexham on Saturday evening.

Motorists have also been told to plan ahead to avoid getting caught in traffic with 12,000 fans expected to attend the concert.

Mold Road will be one-way out of town from 3pm on Saturday and will be closed from 9:45pm while the stadium is emptying.

Stansty Road will also be closed in both directions from its junction with Crispin Lane, through to Rhosddu Road, whilst the stadium is emptying.

A park and ride bus service will be available and Signs will be in place to direct concert-goers to appropriate car parks
