Alun Cairns remains Welsh Secretary in cabinet reshuffle

Alun Cairns has kept his job as Secretary of State for Wales, it's been confirmed.

It's part of Theresa May's cabinet reshuffle following an election that saw the Conservatives lose their majority.

During the election the Conservative Vale of Glamorgan MP declined to take part in a TV debate, along with the leader of the party in Wales Andrew RT Davies.

Welsh Tory MPs Guto Bebb and David Jones are still waiting to hear if theywill remain in their cabinet posts.
