Two rescued after yacht almost washed ashore in winds
Two people were rescued on Wednesday after their yacht was almost washed ashore in high winds.
Pwllheli RNLI members received the call just after 7pm, and quickly established that the 38ft yacht had lost power and had dropped an anchor that was dragging along the sea bed.
The boat was said to be drifting towards the beach.
In less than an hour the yacht was brought in to Pwllheli Marina.
Coxswain Clive Moore said "a swift response was vital", and described it as "an excellent team effort" by the crew.

It's not the first time this week that the bad weather has caused problems across Wales.
On Tuesday more than 600 properties in south and mid Wales were left without power because of high winds.
