'Celebrity' golden eagle makes Wales his home
Golden eagles are most often seen across parts of North America, Asia and even in some remote parts of Scotland.
However, one famous golden eagle, who starred in the film 'Brothers of the Wind', has made Wales his home.
Altai, a two-year-old male golden eagle, has joined other birds of prey at Falconry Experience Wales, near Machynlleth.
He was raised and trained in Austria specifically to feature in the film, as eaglet and adult.
Visitors to the Falconry Experience are able to meet Altai up close, as well as handle and fly other 'raptors' looked after at the centre.
