Adrian's Welsh Bites: The Hamiltons
In the opening episode of Adrian's Welsh Bites, a series in which ITV Wales' Political Editor meets and cooks with people in the Welsh public eye, Adrian Masters is joined by politician Neil Hamilton and his wife Christine.
The 67-year-old re-ignited his political career in May last year after winning a seat in the Welsh Assembly and subsequently elected as the leader of the UKIP Group in Wales.
The couple, who have been married for 34 years, have never been far from controversy.
Even as recently as last week, Neil Hamilton was forced to apologise after he made a joke about suicide to another assembly member during a debate on Brexit.
The former Conservative MP lost his Tatton seat to Martin Bell in 1997 after he was disgraced in the cash-for-questions scandal.
Christine has also spent time in the media spotlight appearing in the ITV reality programme I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2002.
The couple have also been involved in pantomimes including The Rocky Horror Show.
Mr Hamilton came under criticism when he announced his decision to return to Wales and stand in the Assembly election in 2016.
You can see more on Adrian's Welsh Bites tonight on ITV Cymru Wales at 8pm.
