A new exhibition celebrating the 90th anniversary of Cardiff City winning the FA Cup is to open this weekend.

The Bluebirds famously won the FA Cup in 1927, beating Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley.

It was Cardiff City's second final in three years and it was Scottish forward Hughie Ferguson who scored the winner in the 74th minute.

The exhibition features:

  • Winners’ medals belonging to legendary captain Fred Keenor and winger Ernie Curtis.

  • Match-day shirts worn by members of the 1927 Cup-winning team.

  • The official match-day programme and tickets for the 1927 FA Cup final at Wembley.

  • A full-size replica of the FA Cup won in 1927.

  • Memorabilia from 1927 donated by supporters of Cardiff City FC.

  • Photographs of the match and homecoming celebrations.

The exhibition will take place at the Cardiff Story Museum and is open from the 4th of March until September.
