Four arrested and bailed in investigation into teenager shot in Llanbedrog
North Wales Police say they are not looking for anyone else as the investigations continue into the death of an 18-year-old man in Llanbedrog on Sunday February 5.
Emergency services were called to a car park next to the Ship Inn in Llanbedrog at 12:15am on Sunday where Peter Robert Colwell, 18, from Capel Uchaf near Clynnog Fawr, had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers recovered a shot gun from the scene and four local men arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further enquiries. These four men and the deceased were friends.
Detective Superintendent Iestyn Davies said; “Although this tragic incident is being treated as a murder investigation, we are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances."
The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
