Pictures have emerged showing patients in beds lining corridors at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant.
They were taken on the same day the Health Secretary insisted the NHS in Wales is not in crisis.

But their policy is not to hold patients on ambulances outside the unit, but inside instead.
