Investigation into fire that gutted empty house

An investigation is underway this morning into the cause of a fire which ripped through an empty house in Phillipstown, New Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent on Monday night.

Fire crews spent several hours fighting the blaze after being called out at just after 10pm on Boxing Day.

There were concerns about car parking in the street which hindered the fire crews getting to the scene.
