Mum warns about 'one punch' after son was killed

Just over a year ago, Julie Thomas' life changed forever when her son Jonathan was killed during a night out.

Jonathan Thomas died after a single punch to the head. His mother says his death has ruined their lives and are warning others to stop and think about the impact of violence.

34 year-old son Jonathan died after an altercation on Princess Way in Swansea city centre. He was on a night out to celebrate Halloween.

The man who threw the punch that killed Jonathan was found not guilty of manslaughter.

Julie say he whole incident was avoidable and is now warning people of the devastating affects one punch can have on so many lives.

Since her son's death his friends have started a memorial fund to help projects that were close to his heart.

In all the fund has raised tens of thousand pounds for good causes.
