Swansea musician wins Black History Month Award
22-year-old Ify Iwobi from Swansea has won the musician category in the Black History Month Youth Award.
A pianist from the age of seven, she says music is her 'passion' and she knew from a young age that she would wanted to make a career out of it.
Since then she has composed more than 28 pieces, studied musical performance at university and set up her own band. She is now working towards recording an album.
The theme of this year's Black History Month is 'Young, Gifted and Black' and this is the first time Youth Awards have ever been presented.
