Stunning drone footage shows ancient Welsh castles from the air
This is a view of some of Wales' most beautiful castles that people rarely get a chance to see.
The castles built by Edward I are celebrating an impressive 30 years of World Heritage Status this year.
Cadw has released some breath-taking drone footage of Caernarfon, Conwy, Beaumaris and Harlech Castle
Watch the footage below:
The castles – which collectively form a UNESCO World Heritage Site – will be put under the spotlight as Caernarfon hosts to the annual World Heritage UK conference on 10-11 October.
World Heritage Sites are selected by UNESCO as landmarks with cultural, historical or scientific significance – and the castles and town walls of King Edward in Gwynedd were chosen in this respect as world-class examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe.
