A nurse has been struck off for urging two dementia patients to kiss and then uploading it to social media.

Former Miss Cardiff contestant Roberts, 23, "amused herself" by mocking two elderly dementia sufferers at a care home in Cardiff Bay. She urged the pair to kiss then posted a recording to friends on social media app Snapchat.

The home Roberts worked in, Atlantic View, says it has the "highest quality care standards" and "very well trained and caring staff". Roberts quit when her video was discovered and went for an interview at another home without telling them she was under investigation.

Roberts, from Adamsdown, did not attend the Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing, but denied the allegations. She has now been struck off the nursing register in "order to protect the public and satisfy the wider public interest."
