It's been Wales' most successful Olympics to date, with our athletes bringing in a record-breaking 10 medals.
But with the games now over, many of the athletes who competed in Rio will be looking for further accolades in Australia, when the Commonwealth Games come around in April 2018.
Team Wales Chef de Mission for the 2018 Commonwealth Games Professor Nicola Phillips said preparations for the Gold Coast are already underway.
The woman in charge of Sport Wales, Sarah Powell, said Wales' athletes were proving they are 'champions'.
