Suspicious death victim suffered "severe head injuries"
A young mother who died in Penygroes on Monday died of severe head injuries, according to police.
22-year-old Emma Louise Baum was found at her house on Llwyndu Road.
Police say her attacker may have ditched a blade, and bloodstained items of clothing.
A woman arrested in connection with the investigation has been released on bail, pending further enquiries. She remains under investigation on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.
Meanwhile a man remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
Police say they will apply for a warrant of further detention, to allow them to question him further.
Officers also say they received reports of a person running from the rear of Emma's house.
Ms Baum's family described her as 'a beloved daughter, mother, partner and sister'.
