Famous names help celebrate iconic festival milestone
It's known as one of the world's most inspirational music festivals, and this Tuesday it's returning to Wales for the 70th time.
The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod attracts visitors and performers from across the world.
This year, performers from as far afield as California and Kyrgyzstan will make the journey - the first time that nation in remote Central Asia has been represented at the Eisteddfod.
Other famous names including Collabro, Bryn Terfel, and Jools Holland will take to the stage.
Opera singer Katherine Jenkins was due to headline the festival, but announced in June she would have to pull out due to a virus.
The classically-trained Welsh singer was said to have been "devastated", but is being replaced by globally renowned American mezzo soprano, Kate Aldrich.
The event will be held between Tuesday 5th and Sunday 10th July.
