Wales team celebration was over underdog victory, not England's failure, say Taylor and Gunter

Wales defenders Neil Taylor and Chris Gunter played down a video showing the team celebrating after England lost to Iceland, saying they were supporting the underdogs.

Speaking at the Wales team's media base in Dinard, the pair said they understood how the leaked video - which has been doing the rounds on social media - could be seen as over the top, but it wasn't meant in that way.

Captain Ashley Williams joined the team for training this morning, as he continues to recover from a knock to his shoulder picked up in Saturday's victory over Northern Ireland. Taylor said Williams wasn't one to miss a game and having the captain on the pitch for the quarter final would be a big boost.

Wales face Belgium in Lille on Friday and the two teams are no strangers to each other - during qualification for Euro 2016, Wales played them twice, coming away with a win and a draw. Gunter told the press conference the team respects Belgium and while they will look at ways to hurt them, they'll most focus on themselves and what they can do. Taylor added that Wales know they are the underdogs going into the tie and are not expected to win, but they're just going to enjoy still being in the tournament.

Wales's success in the tournament has taken some by pleasant surprise with many having to change travel arrangements and get more time off work. And those having to rearrange plans include Gunter, who was due to fly to his brother's wedding in Mexico. He said his parents will also miss the wedding if they get through to the semis.
