Police chase ends in tight squeeze as car gets wedged in tunnel

A driver was arrested in Caerphilly this morning after his car got stuck in a tunnel during a police chase.

Officers from Gwent Police arrested the 27-year-old man in the early hours of Wednesday morning while they were on patrol.

The police attempted to stop the car to conduct checks, however the driver raced off when officers approached the vehicle. A 7 minute pursuit then followed with speeds reaching 78mph.
