Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has made Chris Coleman's 23-man squad which will travel to France for Euro 2016.

The 29-year-old was a major doubt after suffering a broken leg at the end of the Premier League season - an injury which forced him out of Crystal Palace's 2-1 defeat to Man United in the FA Cup final.

But Ledley was pictured on his feet and training at Wales' camp in Portugal earlier this month and has evidently done enough to prove to Coleman he's fit enough to join the rest of the squad.

Other players making the trip include star names Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey - the former looking for success on the international stage after helping his domestic club Real Madrid to Champions League glory over the weekend.

Bale struggled in extra time ahead of the penalty shootout win over rivals Athletico Madrid, but confirmed after the match it was cramp and there were no lingering injury concerns.

Elsewhere Leicester City striker Tom Lawrence, who spent a large portion of last season on loan at Cardiff City, has been ruled out of the competition with an ankle injury.

The 22-year-old said on Twitter he was "gutted" to be missing out, but said those that were going would "do Wales proud".

Adam Matthews, Emyr Huws and Paul Dummett, who were all under consideration, also miss out.
