Coronation Street actress Cherylee Houston praises 'beautiful' disability art project
Images inspired by a Cardiff artist's disabled sister have been praised by Coronation Street actress Cherylee Houston.
Lauren Evans, an illustrations student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, created a stunning storybook for her sister Chloe, 17, who has severe learning difficulties, autism and epilepsy.
Chloe finds it hard to communicate - so Lauren, using her university degree, decided to bring her sister's ideas through life in a book titled 'Stories for Chloe'.
It has now captured the heart of Cherylee, who made history when she became the first full-time disabled actress on the famous British soap playing Izzy Armstrong.

It's a sentiment that artist Lauren agrees with. She told ITV News that it can be difficult for her teenage sister to express her imagination - and that's what inspired her to create 'Stories for Chloe'.
Lauren has also designed eight Renaissance portraits of children living with a variety of disabilities.
