Welsh singer Joe Woolford prepares to represent UK at Eurovision

A singer from Wales is preparing to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest as one half of duo Joe and Jake.

21-year-old Joe Woolford from Ruthin is no stranger to performing, having appeared on The Voice in 2015.

In the contest, he was chosen to be part of will.i.am's team but lost out during the battle rounds.

He has since gone on to support The Vamps on their 2015 tour.

Joe will appear on stage in Stockholm on Saturday, alongside singing partner Jake Shakeshaft.

Joe said if it wasn't for his family in Wales, he might not be competing today.
