A 1851 rugby rule book is up for auction
An auction in Cardiff is offering sport fans a chance to own a piece of rugby history, with the sale of some very rare items.
One of those on offer is a rare rugby law book from 1851.
Collectors believe it's the first of its kind to come to market, and has attracted interest from around the world.
Another item attracting significant attention is a personalised '1 WRU' car number plate.
With a price guide of between £20,000 and £30,000, this will be the first time in 20 years that the plate has gone on sale.
Former Wales player Tom Shanklin said he would consider buying it.
Cardiff auctioneers, Rogers Jones, are selling the law book and number plate as part of a a specialist rugby sale entitled Sweat, Mud & Blood.
