Appeal after three-foot dead python found in Valleys lake
RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after a dead royal python was found in a Treorchy lake.
The three foot snake was discovered on Sunday in the lake, which is on a hillside at the end of Troedyrhiw Terrace in Treorchy.
It was also reported that a further two dead snakes were spotted in the lake but inspector Evans was unable to find them at the location.
The RSPCA is experiencing an increase in neglect and abandonment cases of exotic animals across England and Wales.
In January, four royal pythons were found dead in a stream in Denbigh and earlier this month a boa constrictor was found dying by the side of a country lane near Haverfordwest with a severe head injury.
